Terms of Service
Last updated: September 11, 2025
1. Overview
These Terms govern your use of 1V1 Sprint League (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service at https://virtualsprintcycling.com/1v1, you agree to these Terms.
2. Accounts & Eligibility
- You must be able to form a binding contract and comply with applicable cycling/platform rules.
- You must connect a valid Strava account to participate in ranked matches.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login/session.
3. League Format & Results
- Matches are 1v1 on league-selected maps with two sprint segments.
- Winners are determined by the combined time of those two segments from your Strava activity.
- We may review/void results in cases of suspected cheating, equipment anomalies, or segment mismatches.
4. Acceptable Use
- No abuse, harassment, cheating, or attempts to disrupt the Service.
- No reverse engineering or scraping that violates our or Strava’s terms.
- Respect Zwift’s, Strava’s, and any third-party platform terms and rules.
5. Strava & Third-Party Services
- Your use of Strava is subject to Strava’s terms and policies. We only access data you authorize via OAuth and only for running the league.
- You can revoke access at any time in your Strava settings. Revoking will stop new data pulls and may affect your ability to compete.
6. Content & Public Data
- Leaderboard entries, recent/upcoming matches, rider names, and performance stats are public within the Service.
- Do not upload or submit content you don’t have rights to share.
7. Disclaimers
- The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
- Cycling/indoor training carries inherent risks. You participate at your own risk and are responsible for your equipment and health.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 1V1 Sprint League will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the Service.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time and may disconnect Strava access in your Strava settings.
10. Changes to the Service
We may modify or discontinue features or the Service at any time, with or without notice.
11. Privacy
Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales (UK), without regard to conflict of laws principles. If you prefer a different jurisdiction, contact us.
